    What You Will Be Doing

    We are seeking a proactive and skilled Material Handler Supervisor to oversee our materials handling operations. This role involves supervising a team of employees who use various equipment to move materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to promoting safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities

    - Supervise employees who use equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, carts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within our plant, office, or warehouse.

    - Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

    -Oversee the unpackaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.

    - Determine appropriate containers and wrapping methods for materials to be shipped or stored.

    - Provide direction for daily operations, actively assisting or providing guidance to subordinates as required.

    - Develop work assignments and assess performance to ensure projects are completed on schedule following established procedures and work plans.

    - Act as a point of contact for questions or issues, interacting with senior internal personnel on significant matters.

    - Ensure execution and continuous improvement of processes and procedures, developing solutions to complex problems.

    - Support corrective action investigations, root cause analysis, and implement innovations and process improvements.

    - Maintain 6S/lean processes for the area of responsibility.

    - Assist with other duties as required by the Warehouse Leadership Team.

    Basic Qualifications:

    5 years of Leadership experience.

    Experience interacting with internal/external customers.

    Experience with communicating effectively with all levels of business operations.

    Desired Skills:

    Experience handling competing priorities in a cross functional organization with many key stakeholders.

    Experience in One Aero SAP.

    Experience with warehousing process and flow.

    Experience with customer relationship management skills.

    Must be highly motivated, self-starter, adaptable to change and able to work in a fast paced, flexible environment.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
