  • Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

    We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to join our team in Santa Clarita, CA!

    As out Manufacturing Engineering Specialist you will provide technical support to production processes in order to maximize the quality and reliability of products, and assure they represent the best value in markets served. You will assure accurate and complete manufacturing and test documentation, including work with Product and Process Engineers to establish/define new processes and production personnel to detail existing methods and practices that are not documented.

    Location: Santa Clarita. CA

    Salary Range : $ 71,300.00 - $95,050.00 per year

    Your Challenge:

    • Participates in the development, implementation and optimization of manufacturing and test processes.

    • Identifies, investigates and resolves process deviations and product nonconformance/failures.

    • Assists in the definition and implementation of preventative/corrective actions. Provides input to manufacturing area layouts to maximize work efficiency and optimize flow of materials.

    • Develops detailed engineering and production part drawings including all necessary information regarding materials, processes, dimensions and tolerances. Assure that drawings are completed in accordance with engineering documentation requirements.

    • Performs computer aided design and drafting of production equipment, tooling and fixtures.

    • Coordinate efforts with engineering, production, and outside suppliers and other required sources to effectively complete the job.

    • May manage other related design documentation including assignment of part numbers, creation of Bill of Materials, and population of the database to assure the design documentation package required for procurement and production is available.

    What you Bring:

    • Associate degree in manufacturing/electrical engineering or equivalent

    • Minimum 6 years' relevant Engineering experience

    • Ability to read and understand drawings, electrical schematics, specification, and MS Office suite or products.

    • Knowledge of electronic and mechanical assembly principles.

    • Preferred is experience in electronics manufacturing.
