    Our client is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is a 6-8 month contract opportunity that could lead to being directly hired.

    This person will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and supporting the achievement of strategic objectives. From implementing new processes and equipment to providing technical support, you'll be at the forefront of innovation. The ideal candidate will have experience with automation of capital equipment, project management and excellent critical thinking skills.

    Qualifications

    • Automation of capital equipment

    • Excellent critical thinking and project management skills

    • Experience with capital projects of up to 1.6 million dollars

    • 5+ years of engineering experience

    responsibilities

    • Lead the implementation of capital and non-capital projects by monitoring progress at vendors, support installation, validation, conducting trials and Go Live production efforts ensure equipment performance to specifications.

    • Apply statistical methods and data driven problem solving while continuously monitoring, analyzing and resolving process problems including the documentation of all proposals and validation results.

    • Source vendors, define SOW's and manage contract deliverables.

    • Provide technical support and guidance for plant operations through identifying and proactively developing solutions for issues impacting production operations.

    • Support our Lean culture through improving production processes and Kaizen Event participation.

    • Identify causes and develop strategies for eliminating re-occurring downtime.

    • Work with plant quality control and manufacturing personnel to ensure process and equipment is capable of producing product that meets quality and engineering standards.
