Manual Machinist

A company in Downey is looking for a Manual Vertical Turning Lathe machinist. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience. This person will be setting up and operating the Giddings & Lewis VTL Model 350T. The candidate MUST have experience with this machine and experience within pump manufacturing industry. The candidate will be able to machine new parts and repair old parts. MUST be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints. Experience with castings is a huge plus. This position is paying between $30 and $45 an hour for the right candidate.
