Job Duties

• Perform preventative maintenance and necessary servicing on mechanical machinery and equipment

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical failures and breakdowns on a variety of equipment, such as engines, conveyors, and components of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, welders, and material handling equipment

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical and hydraulic schematics

• Disassemble and reassemble machinery, replacing or repairing parts or components

• Maintaining the work area in a clean, organized, and safe manner

• Complete assigned work orders, daily down time logs, required forms, and shift communication boards

• Ability to design and build basic electrical circuits (start/stop, motor control)

• Ability to install, program, troubleshoot Variable frequency drives (VFDs/PLCs)

• Install new equipment with per electrical/mechanical drawings

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation

• Experience working with conveyors, hydraulics, and/or pneumatic systems preferred

• Blueprint experience

• Ability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, bend for extended periods of time

• Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance

• Troubleshooting experience
