    As the Maintenance Planner, you'll be responsible for planning the maintenance activities for high volume manufacturing equipment to ensure the safe operation of all equipment operations, minimize maintenance-related downtime, and maximize the usefulness, efficiency, effectiveness and life expectancy of plant assets. The focus of this position may include planning larger strategic projects including outside organizations and within the plant itself.

    How You'll Create Possibilities

    Work as the gatekeeper of operational work systems responsible for maintaining the integrity of the system

    • Serve as the super-user of the plant maintenance management system

    • Train other personnel to effectively and correctly use maintenance systems.

    • Ability to keep two weeks of work set up and ready to go, in detail. To include all materials in proper quantity, drawings, programs, number of men, skills needed, tools - other than common tools found in maintenance tool boxes

    • Ability to create "job cards". Job cards are the details of the job plan and include all job details, materials and quantity, drawings, programs or locations of programs, hours required to complete the job, skills needed, tools. This should be generated in an excel file and kept in the maintenance data base.

    Function as the primary contact for communication and coordination of maintenance activities within the department.

    • Head the planning of Work Orders, Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and Preventative Maintenance (PM).

    • Assist operational managers in validating and prioritizing maintenance work based on defined criteria and business needs.

    • Maintain and keep a running work order list, manage backlog. Meet with stakeholders daily to establish what needs to be worked on, scheduled, parts ordered.

    • Interact cross-functionally with operations, maintenance personnel, and Advanced Manufacturing to coordinate project plans

    • Assists the operational managers in coordinating materials, resources, information, special tools or equipment required on each Work Order

    Provide administrative information to support budget and resource planning

    • Assists in tracking the KPI's: PM completion rate, Weekly Schedule Compliance, Backlog, Spare Part Inventory Turns, Cost/Unit and Unscheduled Downtime; reports key issues.

    • Assists in tracking the maintenance man-hour utilization (available maintenance man-hours accounted for against documented work

    • Provides input to plant management for the preparation and adjustment of the maintenance operating budget accounts, procedures, or optimal organizational structures.

    • Provides input into spare part stocking decisions based on usage, criticality, risk and cost.Work

    What You'll Bring to Our Team

    Position Requirement :

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Technical Degree or equivalent experience

    • Minimum 5 or more years' experience in a high volume manufacturing environment working a maintenance position

    • Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic trouble-shooting and technical repair knowledge

    • Experience in planning and executing equipment installation and modification projects

    • Experience in material procurement and management

    • Minimum 3 or more years' experience in manufacturing and assembly

    • Computer skills: Windows, CMMS, Excel and Windows Applications

    • Multi-level written and verbal communication skills

    • Exhibited positive influencing interpersonal abilities

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Planner certification from accredited national organization, college or university

    • Technical Bachelor degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent

    • Knowledge of database and spreadsheet programs such as Excel, Access and PM / PdM programs

    • Substantial knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with the installation, programming, and troubleshooting electric relay logic and programmable logic controllers; high level mechanical systems troubleshooting such as with electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment or substantial knowledge as a machinist. Must have the ability to ready prints/drawings.

    • Use of a computer maintenance management system. SAP, EAM, MP2, Maximo

    Working Conditions

    • The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

    • Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.

    • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
