We are seeking a 1st shift machine operator for an immediate opening in the Watertown area. This is a temp to hire opportunity offering full time hours plus weekly overtime. Responsibilities

Job Details

Operating inspection & sorting machines

Loading materials into hopper on machine

Selecting correct program in computer to inspect parts

Monitoring machines

Making minor adjustments

Moving and stacking parts buckets

Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for 8 hrs

Working with very small parts

Work hours - 6am-3pm or 7am-4pm M-F

45 hrs weekly

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting

Attention to detail

Mechanically inclined

Ability to work independently & stay organized

Steel toe shoes

The essential functions of this role include

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 9 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

• Machine Operator (2 years of experience is required)

• Calipers

• Lifting

• Manufacturing (2 years of experience is required)
