Machine Operator

Description:

• Company serves the following industries: aerospace, chemical processing, oil-gas, medical, and food processing.

• Entry level position for individuals looking to start a career in machining.

• Their products include corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance or wear materials: bars, sheet/plate metals, alloy wire, tubing, and fastener products.

• Machinery includes large press, grinders, lathes, and mills.

• This Machine Operator will likely be placed on the centerless grinder during their training period and then transfer into a mill or lathe after training.

• They will get the order from their supervisor and each order is different so they are not measured on number of parts they complete in a day, week, etc.

• Will be expected to check the quality of their parts and will learn how to use micrometers and calipers in their training period if they don't already know how to use them.

• They will be running very tight tolerances +/-.001 inches.

• They will be trained on the set up of their machine.
