We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Printing Press Operator to join our team. The Printing Press Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will have experience working with offset or digital printing equipment and possess a good understanding of printing processes and techniques.

Responsibilities

Machine Setup and Operation

• Set up printing presses according to job specifications, including adjusting settings such as ink flow, pressure, and alignment.

• Load paper, ink, and other materials into the press, ensuring proper positioning and smooth operation.

• Operate printing presses to produce printed materials, monitoring output for quality and consistency.

Quality Control

• Conduct regular inspections of printed materials to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.

• Make adjustments to the printing press as needed to correct issues such as color discrepancies, registration errors, or print defects.

• Perform test runs and color matching to achieve accurate and consistent results.

Maintenance and Repair

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on printing presses, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make minor repairs to printing equipment to minimize downtime.

• Coordinate with maintenance technicians for more complex repairs or servicing as needed.
