  • Position Overview

    Reporting to the Manager, LMS, this position will play a key role in the transformation of learning within Encore. This individual will support the global administration of the LMS.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    Content Maintenance and Deployment

    • Partner with instructional designers to import new and updated content.

    • Collaborate with business unit stakeholders to package learning into Training Plans, learning paths, and curriculums.

    • Ensure learning is assigned to correct team members by creating and maintaining audiences.

    • Work with stakeholders to schedule live training and maintenance training rosters.

    • Maintain the learning activity library and instructor led course catalog.

    System Configuration

    • Optimize user experience utilizing HTML and CSS coding.

    • Test and support system updates and enhancements.

    • Maintain and monitor users accounts for errors and duplications.

    • Create and update user security settings to ensure correct end user access.

    • Setup and maintain third-party Content Integrations, including APIs.

    • Monitor reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.

    • Develop standardized LMS operational processes and procedures, guidelines, and documentation.

    Customer Service

    • Provide strong customer service by troubleshooting errors, issues, and user inquiries in a timely manner.

    • Educate end users on how to use the Learning Management System.

    • Conduct focus groups to determine how best to optimize the LMS.

    • Develop and update support job aids and videos.

    Reporting

    • Develop, generate, and analyze ad-hoc reports to measure LMS compliance and effectiveness.

    • Schedule reports for automatic distribution.

    • Prepare learning metrics for management review.

    • Conduct data governance audits to ensure all content meets Encore standards.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications

    Required

    • Associates Degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or related field required. Bachelors degree preferred. Equivalent work experience or undergraduate degree can be used as prerequisite.

    • 3-5 years experience in LMS implementation and administration

    • Knowledge of training programs and experience in learning environments.

    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

    • Strong organizational and time management capabilities with a focus on attention to detail.

    • Proficient in computer systems (HRIS systems, Microsoft Office suite).

    Preferred

    • 2-3 years experience working with a full feature LMS platform (SumTotal, CornerStone, or SuccessFactors)

    • Experience managing third-party integrations

    • Experience with back-end technologies including Single Sign-on methods, APIs, and basic front-end programming languages (e.g. HTML, CSS).

    • Understanding of eLearning standards including SCORM, AICC, and xAPI

    • Ability to problem-solving in the face of ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task

    Work Environment

    Office

    Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
