Job Description

Mission Technologies a division of HII and their Cyber, Electronic, Warfare & Space team is looking to hire Java Developers developing analytics using Java MapReduce and more to be a part of our Prototype Development Support program and must possess a strong mission focus to do new development, rapid prototyping, and analytics support in a variety of environments, using leading edge technologies

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Develop analytics using Java MapReduce and Python in the Linux (Red Hat version 7+) environment.

• Develop prototypes, answering new questions, as well as providing better answers to existing questions.

• Develop analytics for survey and intelligence value assessments.

• Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated fast-paced environment using leading technologies.

• Provide software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.

Minimum Qualifications

Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph for consideration

• Bachelor's degree Computer Science (CS) or related field plus 8 years of relevant experience

• Master's degree in plus 6 years of relevant experience.

• Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience

• High school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position

• Experience with Java MapReduce, the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), and technologies such as Hadoop Hive, Pig, Etc.

• Experience with distributed scalable Big Data Store (NoSQL) such as H Base, CloudBase/Accumulo, Big Table, etc.

• Experience with serialization such as JSON and/or BSON; developing restful services; and using source code management tools . #LI-SG1
