    Robert Half is looking for an IT Director. The IT Director is responsible for managing team assignments, and ensuring the IT department meets company goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee all technology operations and assess them against established objectives.

    • Lead the development and implementation of IT systems and departmental strategies.

    • Formulate IT policies and systems to support strategies defined by senior management.

    • Develop business continuity plans and security measures to ensure minimal operational disruption and data protection.

    • Set standards for IT efficiency and effectiveness, and recommend infrastructural enhancements.

    • Evaluate emerging technologies, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and oversee the acquisition and installation of new technologies.

    • Manage the security of systems, networks, and corporate data.

    • Conduct or oversee IT security audits and investigations.

    • Maintain and enhance relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.

    • Coordinate IT systems across multiple locations using enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.

    • Assess departmental technology needs by analyzing business requirements.

    • Procure technological equipment and software that are both effective and cost-efficient.

    • Monitor the use of technological equipment and software to ensure they are functional and efficient.

    • Recommend system upgrades or configurations to meet organizational needs.

    • Manage IT budget and provide expenditure reports.

    • Undertake additional tasks as required.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related technical field from an accredited university; advanced IT certifications or post-graduate degrees preferred.

    • A minimum of five years of experience in computer systems, with prior management experience in an IT department.

    • Strong leadership capabilities with proven skills in managing a diverse team.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail.

    • Strong organizational and analytical skills, capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
