INTL - Romania - Software Engineer in Test

Job Description

We are seeking a software engineer in test to help facilitate our teams automated testing efforts. The

application uses a microservice architecture and is written in Java (Spring Boot), leverages CosmosDB for

data storage, and is deployed into Microsoft Azure Kubernetes clusters. We are searching for a candidate

with strong programming experience and a focus on QA to help the team adapt an automated testing

approach that runs tests automatically with every build to enable continuous delivery and deployment. This role will be part of Secure Configuration Engine Development team (SCE) responsible to revolutionize the Developers journey in PwC creating and updating (maintaining) the automation backend project. We are looking for an Tester Developer passionate about automation.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor Degree or equivalent

3 year(s)+ in software development lifecycle and software testing methodologies

2 years+ of working experience in CI/CD environments and developing applications or tools using programming and scripting languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, or equivalent

Functional testing, stress testing, performance/load testing, and failure injection

Continuous Integration/deployment, functional, smoke, regression testing

TDD (Test-driven development) or BDD (Behavior Driven Development) in an agile environment

Coding standards, code reviews, code refactoring, design patterns

Understanding of tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, SpecFlow/FitNesse, and Selenium WebDriver null
