Insurance Coverage Attorney for Growing Firm in Chicago!

Description

Growing law firm located in Chicago is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to provide counsel and representation to their clients in all matters of insurance claims and disputes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing insurance policies, providing legal advice.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze insurance policies to determine the extent of the insurer's obligations.

• Advise clients on insurance claim-related issues and disputes.

• Negotiate with insurance adjusters and lawyers to resolve claims.

• Represent clients in court, present facts, argue on their behalf and challenge the opposing testimony or evidence.

• Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles.

• Draft and review legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, policies, and appeals.

• Communicate regularly and maintain a good working relationship with clients.

• Stay updated with changes and developments in insurance law.

• Attend continuing education courses, seminars, and workshops to stay updated with the current laws.

Requirements

The insurance coverage attorney should have 3+ years of insurance coverage experience.

• JD degree from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice law in the state.

• Proven experience as an insurance coverage attorney.

• Strong knowledge of insurance contracts and laws.

• Excellent research and writing skills.
