    Summary:

    The Insides Sales Representative is part of the sales organization within Universal Engineering Sciences. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with existing and prospective customers. Additionally, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing the business with each customer until Universal Engineering Sciences becomes their primary supplier of services handled.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Achieving or exceeding sales targets and service objectives for Universal Engineering Sciences

    • Researching new and upcoming development projects

    • Reaching out to new clients via email, cold calling, social media, network, referrals, or any other necessary medium

    • Creating and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients

    • Creating and delivering proposals

    • Collaborating with internal sales teams to ensure seamless delivery of products or services

    • Responding promptly to new inquiries while managing existing accounts

    • Handling customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the specified time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution

    • Coordinating all steps of proposal submission, from plan review and implementation to project submission

    • Submitting proposal for management review at least 3 days prior to the submission date

    • Maintaining and updating pending proposal and lead list reports

    • Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies

    • Tracking and following outstanding proposals

    • Staying informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions

    • Attending trade shows conferences, as needed

    • Attending periodic sales training where applicable

    • Providing customer service activities as required

    • Other duties may be assigned

    Required Qualifications:

    • Proven customer support experience with Customer Relationship Management or experience as a client service representative

    • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening skills

    • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills

    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • High School degree or 2 years of inside sales experience

    • Preference for experience in the AEC industry
