Image Scientist

Job Description

A client in the defense industry is looking for an Image Scientist to join their team in Rochester, NY! (Rochester preferred, will accept Melbourne, FL or Herndon, VA). This person will be responsible for modeling, simulation, and analysis to create model image sensing systems and use those models to simulate the data being produced by the systems and then analyze the results to ensure the quality of the data is up to standards. You will also be required to develop analytical processes and tools to asses image quality impacts that come with the collection and processing of digital imagery. This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and is fully onsite 5 days per week.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of experience with Matlab and Python

Experience with imaging system design for framing and scanning sensors

Image processing, computer vision, signal processing, or statistical analysis experience

GLAS/GFM/RSM experience

Bachelor's degree

Active Top Secret Clearance PhD

Masters null
