  • Honeywell in Richmond, VA is looking for our next HVAC Field Service Support Technician! This role will provide support on Mechanical HVAC systems. We have a need for a highly motivated experienced technician for this role. The position reports to the Field Service Supervisor.     This role will cover Richmond, VA and other cities west of Richmond.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide technical support through on-site installation, servicing and repair of complex HVAC equipment and systems.

    • Prioritize work and manage calendar based on work requirements.

    • Follow detailed work instruction and escalates any discrepancies in customer requirements, blueprints, or work instructions.

    • Identify and escalate opportunities to improve the installation or repair procedures.

    • Escalate any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment.

    • Travel to site using company provided vehicle.

    • On call rotation (one week every six weeks)

    Work Schedule

    • Typical work schedule is M-F, 40-hour work schedule. Candidate must be available for on-call situations. One week every six weeks will be on-call rotation w/ on-call pay.

    U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status

    MUST HAVE

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • 5+ years' experience in the field in commercial HVAC applications

    • HVAC Journeymen or equivalent NATE certification

    • EPA/CFC certification

    • Valid driver's license acceptable to Honeywell

    • Availability to be on call on rotational basis

    • Experience maintaining customer relationship
