    Job Summary:

    The Leadership and Organizational Development team is seeking a Human Resource Specialist.

    On any given day, you may be called on to:

    • Provides consultation and initial intake for Leadership Development and Organizational Development requests as needed.

    • Develops and maintains program specific resources lists, kits, and evaluations.

    • Participates in facilitation of training and development programs and classes.

    • Develops and maintains team websites, SharePoint, and content collaboration and management workspaces.

    • Responsible for processing and updating inquires in team's incident management system.

    • Proposes service recommendations and process changes based on data analysis to ensure continuous improvement.

    • Provides support and recommendations on content design/development for training materials and presentations.

    • Supports and participates in strategic initiatives or cross-group, projects, contributing to the overall organizational strategy.

    • Benchmarks industry best practices and makes recommendations based on research.

    • Acts as the subject matter expert on Talent Development programs and services.

    Minimum Qualifications (Required):

    • A bachelor's degree in business, HR, Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Learning, Education, Instructional Design, or 8 years of equivalent experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job.

    • The ability to acquire and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired):

    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

    • Demonstrated experience in facilitating training and development classes/programs.

    • Intimate knowledge of business scorecards or Kirkpatrick evaluation measures.

    • Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft suite tools

    • Excellent consultation skills.

    • Ability to apply Instructional Design concepts.

    • The ability to build trust with key stakeholders and partnerships with teams with competing priorities.

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to lead projects.

    • The ability to develop and maintain websites and content collaboration and management workspaces.

    • An active DOE L-level security clearance; or other equivalent active security clearance such as DOD Secret
