  • The Brattle Group, a privately held, global economics consulting firm, is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Boston, MA, Chicago, IL or Washington, DC office. The position is responsible for partnering with key stakeholders within the business to plan, develop, and implement HR and talent strategies that result in the improvement of company performance and engagement.

    Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:

    • Analyzes and interprets business conditions, engagement surveys and other data to proactively identify, implement and improve programs to support the employee experience. Partners with other HR teams to build and support talent / HR programs

    • Partners with assigned Group Leads/ key internal clients to provide guidance on all HR related issues, including:

    • Analyzing key data such as retention, turnover, and engagement of staff and communicates/collaborates on areas of opportunity or improvement

    • Guiding and advising stakeholders on HR policies and practices impacting talent management, employee and leadership development, teambuilding, compensation strategy, performance management, employee engagement, diversity, and retention

    • Providing advice and coaching to internal managers/mentors to increase performance management capability and build resilience

    • Partners with Director Employee Experience and other members of the HR department to influence and support change management across the stakeholder groups

    • Implements annual performance review process including promotion processes and plans for addressing of performance issues for the client/customer groups they support

    • Collaborates with other HR teams to bring a strategic business point of view to enhance the design/implementation of Talent Acquisition, Benefits & Compensation, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Learning & Development programs

    • Leading talent management and succession planning with firm leadership

    • Manages employee job changes including assigned Group/country transfers and terminations

    • Maintains strong working knowledge of legal requirements related to the management of employee issues and internal policies

    THE CANDIDATE

    • Bachelor's degree required; HR professional certification such as PHR or SHRM, preferred

    • 5 - 7 years' experience working in Human Resources; 3 - 5 years working in an HRBP or strategic HR generalist capacity; experience working in professional services is desired; 3+ years' experience in employee relations/leading investigations, performance management, creating career paths, leading projects

    • Working knowledge of HR, US (and global) Employment laws

    • Experience with Performance Management tools such as Lattice and employee engagement platforms such as CultureAmp

    • Strong organization and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.

    • Experience using data to drive decision making, with strong attention to detail and analytical abilities

    • Ability to travel as needed within US and some international (<10%)
