    The Boeing Company is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Engineering Support Analyst ( Associate, Mid-Level) to join the Product & Services Safety (P&SS) - Regulatory Issues Management (RIM) team.

    The Global Safety & Regulatory Affairs team's mission is to align safety and regulatory strategies; influence safety and regulatory policy, guidance and oversight; and champion related initiatives with governments and industry.

    Within GS&RA, Regulatory Issues Management (RIM) is the enterprise-wide process for distributing and commenting on relevant civil aviation rules, orders,

    policy and guidance issued by civil aviation regulatory authorities. This ensures proper Boeing response as to the certification, design, quality, operation, manufacture of, and/or processes related to Boeing products and services.

    As part of a small, agile, empowered team, this candidate will act as a key resource in monitoring, tracking, and communicating global regulatory rulemaking activities with impacted enterprise stakeholders, while also supporting the development regulatory strategies associated with rulemaking activities. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to grow their knowledge and expertise of the global regulatory ecosystem while also building relationships with key internal stakeholders, including functional Safety and Airworthiness Chief Engineers and their respective teams.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Everett, WA.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Provide assistance to research web-based publications from Regulatory Authorities around the globe to determine applicability to Boeing. Gather and document regulatory topics in database and email communication to identified stakeholders.

    • Review and edit Boeing comments to regulatory consultations and prepare documents for submittal to Regulatory Authorities.

    • Work effectively as part of a highly motivated and diverse team, while also being able to work independently as part of a globally distributed team.

    • Apply a safety-first, global and enterprise-wide mindset to all solutions.

    • Work under general supervision.

    This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor degree in a technical course of study and/or 3+ years experience

    • Experience using project management skills and techniques

    • Experience building relationships with stakeholders and customers

    • Experience collaborating across functions and organizations

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

    • Knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Aviation Regulations, Civil Aviation Safety, or Certification

    • Experience working, networking and teaming with external groups

    • Experience developing and providing recommendations on technical issues

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • General understanding of commercial airplane design/commodities. (to decipher what would apply to Boeing vs, GA, etc.)

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Associate ( Level 2):

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).

    Mid-level (Level 3):

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.)

    Summary Pay Range Associate Level 2 : $78,200-$105,800

    Summary Pay Range Mid-Level Level 3: $98,600-$133,400
