Description

The Finance Data Reporting Analyst Sr is a data specialist that works with data and data management tools to establish and maintain accurate data sources for reporting and analysis. Individuals in this role have excellent analytical and technical skills, in addition to a keen ability to determine specifications and standards for business reporting and maintaining data integrity. This role will primarily support the administration of Huntington's Oracle Cloud EPM / Essbase data environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with data structures and metadata to ensure consistency, security, and accessibility.

• Collaborate with business segments to gather requirements and specifications while developing enhanced data and reporting tools.

• Work closely with Information Technology (IT) to understand data flows and develop efficiencies where possible.

• Exercise sound judgment in analyzing and interpreting source data to ensure a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness for business leaders.

• Work with end-users to develop best-practices in data retrieval and to answer data structure questions.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Finance or Information Technology

• 5+ years experience in Financial data/reporting/systems support

? Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge and skill supporting Oracle Essbase / EPM Cloud environments.

• Experience working particular technologies: OFSAA, SQL, SAS, BI tools, Database Analytic Tools

• Knowledge of finance business processes and the interaction between systems and processes, including strong Excel skills and database query skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with any levels of management, up to and including the Executive level.

• Ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities and work with limited direction.

• Some weekend and late evening work required.
