Extruder Operator - 3rd Shift

Duties:

• Start up, shut down, operate, adjust, maintain and troubleshoot extruders as necessary to ensure materials are to specifications.

• Visually inspect and measure product to ensure adherence to established specifications and identify any defects.

• Ensure all safety rules and procedures are followed at all times and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Working Conditions:

• Temperature Controlled facility but has noticeable seasonal temperature fluctuations.

• PPE required: Safety glasses, Earplugs, steel-toed shoes, and safety gloves.

• High School Diploma Required

• At least 1 year experience in a plastics extrusion and manufacturing environment.

• Ability to lift and carry on an average of 25-60 pounds for up to 5 hours a shift.

• Required skills: Basic math understanding and use of measuring skills.

• Preferred skills: Control Panel operation and basic blueprint understanding
