    Salary: $112,500 - $125,000, bonus eligible

    SHIFT: Day Shift Monday - Friday (on-site)

    ROLE SUMMARY:

    Are you looking for a rewarding career? Are you passionate about Safety? Then we are looking for you! Anheuser-Busch is seeking a Safety Manager to support our brewery in Fairfield, CA!

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure ownership and integration to drive sustainable EHS management systems.

    • Knowledge & experience to provide effective training on all appropriate related topics including creating presentation material for specific audiences and speaking in front of a group.

    • Development of Health & Safety improvement initiatives and the daily management of on-going operations.

    • Provide guidance to leadership team regarding the Safety strategic objectives and regulatory compliance issues.

    • Direct activities to conduct investigations, identify root cause and recommend corrective measures for all Safety incidents.

    • Represent the facility to external regulatory agencies.

    • Direct activities to compile Safety information and other data as required by zone, local, state and federal agencies.

    • Completes reports and inspections required by zone, local, state and federal agencies.

    • Conducts assessments of regulatory impacts and safety risks posed by project and process changes.

    • Identify unsafe behaviors and unsafe conditions in the workplace using regulatory requirements & best safety practices.

    • Contribute to the overall needs and objectives of the department and brewery

    • Team building - ability to involve employees and the leadership team in the process.

    • Manage safety champions & plant wide safety committee.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree required in Safety, Environmental or other related disciplines.

    • 3 years of safety/environmental experience in a manufacturing environment.

    • Ability to collaboratively work with all levels of the organization.

    • Ability to work any and all shifts and provide 'on-call' coverage outside work hours and some weekends and holidays.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong leadership skills, a comfort level with change, and the ability to lead change.

    • Working knowledge of government regulations (i.e., OSHA CUPA, EPA, etc.).

    • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements (federal, state and provincial) and apply them to the workplace.

    • Effective decision making and a willingness to use available resources to accomplish goals.

    • Acts with integrity in all EHS matters to maintain EHS compliance and excellence.

    • Ability to lead teams and facilitate effective meetings.

    • Investigative, analysis and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent Computer Skills - Microsoft Office.
