Engineering Designer

Job Description

A client in the utilities space is looking to add an Associate Engineering Designer to their team! This person will be developing and designing construction work packages (electrical) for distribution systems. They will be travelling to sites as needed, inspecting, and performing engineering design work. They will be performing engineering calculations (structural analysis, guying, conductor sags, etc.). This person needs to have great communication and be comfortable working both in the field and in the office!

Skills and Requirements

BS in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience OR BS not in Engineering and 5 years of experience

NESC Standsards

ESRI

AutoCad and/or MicroStation

MS Office

Great verbal and written communication skills

Both Field and Office work

10-20% travel

Utilize personal vehicle GIS null
