    Job Summary:

    Electrical Engineer II will be responsible to maximize product performance by researching, designing, developing and sustaining electronic or electrical products and systems. Perform analyses on new product designs to ensure efficiency, reliability and quality. Participate in engineering design review and testing of products. The overall objective is to ensure customer satisfaction.

    Essential Functions:

    • Generate hardware requirements and design documents based on system requirements.

    • Conduct technical analysis to validate requirements, traceability, designs, including but not limited to: trait studies, product design, system/component integration, mathematical modeling, reliability analysis, and development.

    • Responsible for circuits design, analysis, build, test and generate documents/reports for products development.

    • Prepare and review technical reports/documentation necessary to satisfy customer, internal and program requirements, including specifications, design documents, test plans/procedures, reports, correspondence, etc.

    • Work in collaboration with all functional areas to design and develop products that meet customer specifications and company requirements for schedule, cost, production ability, quality and reliability. Follow the design through the entire design and manufacturing lifecycle.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics (Master's Degree Preferred).

    • Experience:

    • 3+ years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering

    • Designing, developing and qualifying aircraft components and leading teams

    • Products development for aerospace industry.

    • Design and development of: Analog and digital circuitry, Programmable and discrete logic.

    • LabVIEW, Altium, DO-160, DO-254 and IPC standards.

    • Knowledge:

    • Embedded digital circuitry and software control.

    • Circuit design and development with analog and microcontroller/microprocessor based systems.

    • Equipment utilized in support of testing similar/related Electronic, Aerospace and/or Defense products.

    • Skills:

    • Ability to perform technical writing assignments in generation of test specifications, hardware requirements, and customer proposals.

    • Good technical writing and verbal communication skills with proficient computer skills in common office software programs.

    • Demonstration of a very cooperative, helpful attitude. Team members in all areas of the facility will be required to aid in developing a positive relationship between Engineering and all plant levels.

    • Occasional travel to customer and supplier facilities for technical interchange meetings, design reviews, product support, and technical seminars.

    • Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

    Top Benefits:

    Salary range: $99,528 to $117,984. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
