  • Responsibilities

    In close collaboration and partnership with the Vice President of People Operations, manage and continually improve the Research People Operations function while leveraging systems and data to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives at both Research and at the enterprise level. Work in partnership with other People & Culture leaders to develop and continually improve a People Operations strategic plan that demonstrates measurable results. Ensures continuity of Research People Operations function that aligns with organizational strategic objectives, and ensure compliance with accreditation, contractual obligations, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements. Key member of People and Culture and Workforce Experience Leadership teams to identify and develop People Operations strategies and goals. Partner with senior leaders and their organizations to improve effectiveness and engagement with thorough emphasis on equity, diversity, and inclusion.

    Requirements

    Required Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development or other related field or equivalent education and experience.

    • 5 years of progressively responsible HR management in an academic, hospital, or research setting.

    • 3 years progressively responsible program management experience in a combination of Diversity and Inclusion leadership.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead in an environment of rapid change.

    • 5 years Healthcare and/or Research Experience.

    • Experience with Quality Improvement systems.

    Required Credentials

    • N/A

    Preferred

    • Masters degree in related discipline.

    • Employee and Labor relations experience preferred.

    • Professional development related to diversity and inclusion best practices.

    • Experience with Physicians, Providers, and Primary Investigators a plus.

    Min to Max Hourly Salary

    $82.35 - $123.52 /hr

    Min to Max Annual Salary

    $171,285.00 - $256,927.00 /yr

    Salary Information

    This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

    Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
