    The Director of Global Repair and Overhaul Engineering (GROE) will report to the Sr Director of Global Repair and Overhaul Engineering under Global Production Engineering Services organization.

    This role is responsible for developing, leading, and executing repair and overhaul strategies aligned to the Electronic Solutions/Services & Connectivity products throughout the global repair and overhaul worldwide network. This role will be responsible for working in collaboration with ISC R&O leadership and various business leaders/stakeholders in the establishment and execution of an overall R&O engineering strategy.

    The Engineering R&O Director will partner directly with R&O site leaders to drive backlog reduction, cost take-out, work-scope standardization, and improved delivery, productivity, and turn-around time with hands-on technical support to ensure all site goals are attained or exceeded. They will leverage their broad knowledge of R&O operations to develop repairs and drive repair utilization, providing site analytics to enable the implementation of best practices and drive commonality across the R&O network.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Value stream leader for Electronic Solutions/Services & Connectivity product line focused on key enablers within the GROE organization to meet ISC R&O objectives.

    • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to improve revenue and margin while reducing backlog and turn-around time.

    • Providing day-to-day technical support across all R&O sites, enabling site leaders to meet key performance goals, such as backlog and turn-around time.

    • Providing oversite of execution of repair development in response to business needs, driving utilization on the factory floor to enable the operations team to meet business objectives.

    • Developing and implementing a Management Operating System (MOS) to drive effective communication and execution of engineering tasks and responsibilities between GROE, ISC Aftermarket Operations, and GBE's

    • Analyzing and understanding the impacts of footprint consolidation and enabling the successful transition of work into other Honeywell service centers or partner facilities

    • Site capacity assessment and analysis to align growth strategies and capital planning management

    • Championing standardization efforts among engineers and processes across sites to transfer best practices, smart-scoping, and standard repair processes

    • Ensuring a disciplined and data-driven approach is utilized for aftermarket technical decisions.

    • Develop and manage the execution of strategic capital projects to align with R&O growth and backlog reductions goals

    • Executing Engineering Change Process Approvals

    • Driving VCP (Value Creation Project) Program Management structure/coordination

    • Travel (approximately 10-25%), including international

    U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

    • Minimum 12 years of experience in Aerospace Electronics industry

    • Minimum 10 years of managing project execution, budgets, and change management

    WE VALUE

    • Experience with Electronic Solutions/Services & Connectivity product lifecycle phases

    • Repair Development aftermarket experience in roles of escalating responsibility

    • Experience in SIOP - Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning & SQDCP - Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Performance of Aftermarket operations

    • Master's Degree in engineering, Science, or Business, preferred

    • Six Sigma Green Belt, Design for Six Sigma, Black Belt/MBB or Lean Expert/Lean Master certifications preferred

    • Program Management experience; (PMP certified or equivalent, a plus)

    • Advanced communications/presentation/ leadership/people skills are essential

    • Strong experience presenting projects to executive-level leadership

    • Previous experience managing remote relationships

    • Intimately familiar with FAA and other regulatory organization regulations; (FAA-DER/ODA certificate or equivalent, a plus)

    • Establish and execute on clear goals to achieve significant cost, quality, delivery and productivity improvements - "Bigger, Bolder, Faster"
