Data Scientist

Description

Our client is looking for a data scientist who is looking to grow in their career. This candidate will be working on a variety of AI initiatives.

Top Requirements needed

1: Data science, machine learning, Python/R data modeling, predictive modeling/ must have created the models and can speak to the type of model they choose and why.

2: Analytical capabilities / prior experience presenting models to business/ gathering requirements from the business / sharing the outcome of the model result to the business, too.

3: Power BI & Dax configuration/set up / so the business could access the report on a regular basis.

4: Any AI use case building, execution is prefered.

5: Working with in excel

Work Experience

2-5 years of experience in Data Science or Business Analytics, preferably in the energy utilities or finance industry

Specific Skills & Knowledge:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

Strong experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches

Proven record of experience working with large, complex databases and use of statistical models for valuation or prediction

Advanced proficiency using data warehouse and data mining tools, especially SQL

Experience collecting data from multiple sources using automation and ETL tools such as SSIS

Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI

Working knowledge of predictive modeling and machine learning techniques, coupled with the ability to accurately interpret and present results

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with several cross-functional stakeholders in a timely fashion with measurable results
