CGI Federal is hiring a Data Quality Engineer (Mid) to work with a skilled and motivated team of professionals on a high-visibility Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) cyber security program. You will support a dynamic, fast-paced project focused on improving the cyber security posture of civilian government agencies through the implementation and enhancement of a cybersecurity platform, providing integration services, and developing, securing and maintaining cybersecurity dashboards. You will work closely with a variety of agency stakeholders, supporting their mission, priorities, organization and unique challenges. You will also support the development of additional cyber security offerings focused on next generation security solutions and technologies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Work with a highly skilled and experienced team focused on next generation security solutions to discover, capture and manage endpoint information and manage assets.

• Assist with the development, implementation and documentation of new processes and approaches for analyzing large sets of data (including visualizations and statistical analysis).

• Assist with the development, implementation and documentation of new processes and approaches for Extract Transform Load (ETL) activities.

• Support Tool Engineers to determine capabilities of COTS tools in alignment with requirements.

• Support Requirement Engineers to determine qualitative baselines and objective criteria for large data sets.

• Support test and technical teams involved in developing requirements and software design artifacts to ensure familiarity with the requirements and expected functionality of the system.

• Support the delivery of client expectations and involvement in the various reporting activities.

• Assist with managing the development of reports on project progress, risks and issues.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience.

• Extensive knowledge of data visualization tools.

• Extensive knowledge of quality assurance and testing.

• Effective communication and writing skills to communicate to customers and internal team members.

• Exceptional organizational skills to work with a vast array of information.

• Ability to maintain own workload and meet deadlines.

Desired qualifications

• Cybersecurity experience.

• Experience with CISA's Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program.

• Experience with the Elastic Logitech Kibana (ELK) Stack.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000 - $161,600.
