    Job Summary

    Raytheon Digital Technology is seeking a Data Governance Operational Lead to manage our operational aspects of our Data Governance Board and working committees. This individual should possess a strong understanding of data management at an enterprise level as well as the roles and responsibilities of the data domain owners and stewards. They should understand key data concepts such as data quality, meta data and master data management, security/access, data dictionary and glossary and interoperability.

    This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

    Responsibilities to Anticipate

    • Manage agenda and dockets for both the Data Governance Board (steering) and Data Governance Committee (tactical working group).

    • Manage the oversight of our Data Governance roadmaps initiatives.

    • Coordinate efforts with internal data partners to meet our data needs serving as a conduit to our governance teams.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6 years' experience.

    • Experience with key data governance concepts

    • Experience establishing and executing data management processes representing data lifecycle.

    • Experience with analytical environments such as data warehouses or data lakes.

    • Experience as a member or contributor to a Configuration Control Board (CCB) or similar.

    • Experience collaborating to prioritize work across multiple stakeholders.

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Informatica governance tools such as Enterprise Data Catalog, Axon and Data Quality.

    • Understanding of data classification.

    • Experience managing data projects and initiatives to completion.

    • Experience using data in multiple roles: functional (supporting internal efforts) and/or program (supporting external customer deliverables).

    • Experience with navigating/determining data restrictions related to IP, Global Trade (ITAR/EAR) and Sovereignty, Security (Defense Classifications, CDI/CUI, Cyber), and Privacy

    • Excellent presentation and organizational skills.

    • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

    The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
