Customer Service Representative
PeopleReady of Bell Gardens, CA is now hiring Customer Service Representatives! As an Inside Sales Support/Customer Service Representative you will be processing purchase orders, creating new client accounts, and acting as the point-of-contact for our customers. The pay rate for this job is $17 - $19 / Hour
What you'll be doing as a Customer Service Representative:
As an Inside Sales Support/Customer Service Representative you will be processing purchase orders, creating new client accounts, and acting as the point-of-contact for our customers
You will work closely with Orbit's sales team and other departments to service our clients above and beyond the call of duty
Accurately input data & orders into our database
Process customer purchase orders and distribute order confirmation
Manage sales promotions
Effectively resolve customer issues and concerns
Promptly respond to customer email inquiries and requests
Onboard new customers and service existing customer accounts
Provide customers with accurate pricing and availability of products
Alert customer when items are out of stock/discontinued and suggest value-engineered alternatives
Follow up on customer orders and provide expected delivery date
Check inventory control
Expedite or trace missing /delayed shipments by working with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, operations and other departments
Perform various clerical duties, including filing and record retention
Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)
High school or equivalent
High level of computer literacy (PC literate with Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be customer-retention focused
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt quickly in an fast paced environment
Must be able to effectively prioritize, multi task and work well as part of a team
