  • Description:

    Construction Laborer Duties:

    • Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.

    • Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.

    • Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.

    • Load or unload construction materials.

    • Assemble and disassemble temporary structures (e.g., scaffolding).

    • Assist with earth removal, filling, or compaction.

    • Follow instructions from supervisors.

    • Collaborate with craft workers.

    • Be open to on-the-job training.

    • Perform site clean-up.

    Painter Helper :

    • Read blueprints and instructions to determine the type and amount of work required.

    • Make on-site preparations, including covering fixtures.

    • Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting (scraping, sanding, removing old paint, etc.).

    • Fill cracks and holes using appropriate materials (e.g., plaster).

    • Mix paint and other materials to achieve the desired color or texture.

    • Apply paint to surfaces using various tools (brushes, rollers, etc.).

    • Apply varnish and other finishes as needed.

    • Adhere to health and safety precautions.
