Warehouse Commercial Driver

IMMEDIATE NEED FOR FULL-TIME WHAREHOUSE DRIVER. $25-$32/Hr. BENEFITS ELIGIBLE

POSITION SUMMARY

Southland Industries is looking to hire an experienced Warehouse Commercial Truck Driver , with a clean driving record and current DL. The Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of items to client sites, Southland offices and projects in and around the Sacramento Area. We are looking for an employee who values the things we do as an organization and who can be trustworthy and competent in their craft. This position pays an hourly wage of $25/hr to $32/hr and will commensurate with experience. This is a full-time role, fully eligible for company benefits. Work Hours are M-F 6-2:30 Pm at our Sacramento location and surrounding areas.

What you'll do:

• You'll be transporting finished goods and raw materials over land to and from the warehouse shop or job sites including loading and unloading.

• You'll conduct daily inspections of vehicle and report any problems immediately to manager.

• You'll keep the vehicle clean on the interior and exterior.

• You'll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the warehouse in between routes.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Experience as a delivery driver for a minimum of 2 years

• Excellent and clean driving record required

• High School Diploma/ GED

• Good verbal communication skills

• Good customer service skills

• Ability to tie down loads of different sizes

• Prior hands-on experience with commercial driving of any kind preferred

• Current DL License
