  • We at Adecco are working with a Industry leading manufacturer in the Lawrenceville, Ga area who are looking to fill a CNC Machinist Grinding position. These are 1st shift positions with pay at $20-$25 per hour with a possibility to earn more based on your experience/tenure.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Plans, schedules work and sets up equipment, using a variety of precision measuring devices and machine attachments and fixtures.

    • Grinds tools and dies to prescribed dimensions by adjusting controls to feed work against grinders.

    • Computes dimensions, widths, and angles of cutting tools, micrometers, scales, and gauges, and adjusts tools to produce specified cuts.

    • Removes, dresses, and installs grinding wheels on machines, according to specifications, applying knowledge of abrasives and grinding procedures.

    • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements as instructed by the manufacturer, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.

    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum High School Diploma or GED

    • 3+ Years' Experience in Grinding

    • Journeyman Certification a Plus

    • Experience on Amada Profile Grinding machines a Plus

    Shift - Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

    Temp To Perm or Direct Hire

    Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
