CAD Designer

Pay Rate: 23-27/hr

Location: New Albany, OH

Duration : 12 month contract, potential to convert

Hybrid Work Schedule

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare maps using computer aided drafting via sketches, schematics, and other engineering related drawings.

• Create, revise, and maintain detailed engineering and record drawings, maps, and sketches using AutoCAD.

• Perform mathematical calculations required to accomplish assigned work.

• Operate reproduction machines, plotters, and other duplicating equipment.

• Promote and support the Company's' Accidnet Prevention and Safety and Health programs.

• Read vendors' prints, shop and other drawings, and equipment operating instruction, and incorporate that information in the work being performed.

• Prepare and review plan and profile drawings.

• Prepare right of way and condemnation drawings.

Job Requirements

• Associates degree in applied science, drafting and computer aided design or in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering technology.

• HS diploma w/ 4 years of relevant experience in electrical utility and/or related industrial drafting and/or computer aided drafting.

• Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is required.
