    Job Description:

    • Implementation Coordinator/Business Analyst - Customer Delivery- Enterprise Communications Strategic Projects

    Responsibilities:

    • Sponsor Engagement: Working with sponsors in business units to determine the number of participating vehicles for each location. Working with installation vendors to schedule device installations. Attending some installations to assist with tracking and issue resolution.

    • Installation logistics: Working with project team and installation vendors to schedule and track device installation in vehicles across the Energy footprint.

    • Deployment progress reporting: To report deployment progress to project manager, sponsors, and various levels of management.

    • Test coordination and test execution: Assist other business analysts with test execution and test coordination activities. Assist with reporting on test execution/defect resolution progress.

    • Various business analysis tasks: Serve as a business analyst on various telecommunications project efforts, including documenting requirements, helping to develop project artifacts (like the project charter, project authorization packages, and business cases), coordinating meetings, working with sponsors and vendors, and working with project managers to ensure successful completion of the project.

    • Responsible for understanding the work processes of the Enterprise Communications Improvements program. Work within those processes, offering suggestions to make them more efficient.

    • Prepare thorough and accurate technical and business management reports, effective correspondence, accurate documentation, easily understandable presentations, and well-maintained records.

    • Coach and mentor business and technical consultants as needed.

    Basic requirement

    • 4-Year bachelor's degree in information technology or a related discipline. In lieu of any college degree, 7 or more years of related business experience.

    • 4 to 5 years of related experience in business and or information technology systems analysis in a project environment (especially with a focus on creating requirements, business cases, documenting strategies, and/or performing technical writing). Experience working on telecommunications or networking projects is a plus. Experience in the utility industry is a plus.

    • Proven experience working as part of a project team using various development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.).

    • Skilled in practices of collecting, summarizing, and presenting information.

    • Knowledgeable of project management theories and principles.

    • Working hands-on experience executing test scripts and tracking defects in HP ALM.

    • Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Ability to communicate effectively with technical experts, business SMEs, and executives.

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    • Strong problem solving and analysis skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation, effective sponsor communications, and conflict management.

    Skilled in various disciplines of business analyst activities including:

    • Proven experience working with sponsors in a project environment to plan deployment and training activities.

    • Proven ability to coordinate project activities from a business analyst role.

    • Proven ability to measure and effectively communicate status. Ability to communicate effectively with business sponsors and management.

    • Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.

    • Experience with test execution and test coordination.

    • Proven self-starter with a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, work methods and company/industry knowledge quickly.

    • Demonstrated ability to learn new processes/tools quickly.

    • Experience driving projects forward from the business analyst role in various development methodologies and/or work environments.

    • Ability to produce project artifacts like deployment plans, test plans, training plans, requirements documents, project charters, business cases, stakeholder impact assessments, process documents, etc.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills--for example, requirements analysis, testing documentation, technical writing or similar writing experience.

    • Highly organized and able to coordinate efforts across multiple groups.

    • Experience in the utility industry. Demonstrated leadership within Energy is a plus.

    • Knowledge of telecommunications networks and utility operations is preferred.

    • Advanced office environment knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Practical experience with SharePoint and Teams.

    • Strong ability to plan and organize daily personal tasks and team testing and implementation activities.

    • Ability to work effectively with customers, management and teammates. Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
