Bookkeeper

Description We have a great opportunity available for a social Bookkeeper with a background in accounting. If you enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, this role may be perfect for you. Your responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

• Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits

• Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

• Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

• Balance accounts by reconciling entries

• Maintain and balance general ledger

• Maintain quality historical records by filing documents Requirements - Experience using accounting software

• 3+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper

• General familiarity with general ledger

• Grant Administration experience

• Well-founded grasp of Process Payroll

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

• Proven knowledge of Paychex Payroll

• Quickbooks Online experience

• Wide ranging experience with Donations

• Billing experience

• Quality experience with financial reporting

• Practical knowledge of account reconciliation

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
