Bookkeeper

Description

Robert Half has an immediate need for a proven Bookkeeper. Do you consider yourself knowledgeable in A/P, A/R, General ledger, payroll and financial reporting? This Bookkeeper opportunity may be for you. This Bookkeeper position will be located in the Beverly Hills, California area and will be a short-term contract / temporary opportunity. This position would require a candidate to work on-site in Beverly Hills, 5 days per week. Experience working within insurance or other financial service industry is preferred.

Your responsibilities

• Appease accounts by balancing entries

• Manage and review general ledger

• Uphold quality historical records by filing documents

• Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

• Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

• Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits

• Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Requirements

• 3+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper

• Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

• Bank reconciliations experience highly desired

• Payroll experience required

• Foundational knowledge in Epic Software

• Adeptness in Reclassifications

• Proficiency in Paychex

• Solid understanding of bookkeeping
