AWS Application Architect

• The AWS Solution Architect will lead and guide the design team, applying leading practices to meet the requirements with the best software development methodologies and principles.

• Lead cross-functional infrastructure experts to design, document, and deliver an industry leading serverless AWS architecture for the VA's modern platform.

• Apply knowledge to create an environment that fosters accountability, quality, commitment, growth, and innovation.

• Support the sales process as needed by participating in the infrastructure solution design.

• Assess, plan, implement and/or support world-class application solutions for our client.

• Bring together multiple aspects of architecture - application, data, cloud, performance, capacity, security, testing.

• Conduct assessments and define solutions for complex application requirements.

• Oversee the configuration and build of the application solutions or technology components and classes. Design, customize, develop, and execute technical resources for methods, procedures, and standards using commercial and Accenture's proprietary tools to build infrastructure and application components.

Here's what you need:

• 5+ years architecture, planning and delivery of projects with multiple releases and workstreams.

• 5+ years overall infrastructure lead experience.

• Experience with AWS cloud services, specifically AWS Lambda, Aurora, RDS

• Experience with relational databases, microservices, APIs, data integration technologies

Preferred:

• Experience with GraphQL, fully automated CI/CD pipelines, Containerization solutions, Salesforce, and Agile Methodologies

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:

$103,200-$213,600 USD
