  • The Assistant Property Manager assists in the day-to-day operations of the property management team and assists the Property Manager in the management of the portfolio's buildings, tenants, and staff. Their duties and responsibilities often include:

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct morning meetings for all staff, assigning and delegating work orders to maintenance and porter staff.

    • Review and approve cleaning/make ready checklists for vacant units.

    • Coordinate make ready units for painters, porters, and maintenance personnel.

    • Prepare and present weekly leasing reports.

    • Conduct bi-weekly inspections of residential buildings to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.

    • Review accounts receivable and forward to the property accountant as necessary.

    • Program fobs and phone numbers in building systems.

    • Follow up on maintenance work orders to ensure completion and resident satisfaction.

    • Conduct pre-inspection checklists for units on notice.

    • Manage the process of moving units out of the system and creating make-ready work orders.

    • Handle rent checks, rent credits requests, and rent adjustment requests, forwarding relevant information to the Property Manager.

    • Manage resident utility charges and communicate effectively with residents.

    • Maintain internal reporting procedures.

    • Track and manage lease renewals, including proactive efforts to retain residents.

    • Perform parking audit reporting as needed.

    • Generate accounts receivable reports.

    • Undertake other administrative and managerial duties as required.

    Requirements:

    The ideal candidate must demonstrate professionalism, motivation, reliability, and strong multitasking abilities. Additionally, excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

    Pay Details: $24.04 to $28.85 per hour
