    Responsibilities

    Job Specific Details and Tasks:

    • Manage and Coordinate Asset Management activities and client interactions for DFC IT infrastructure

    • Lead Asset Management support; coordinate any needed ServiceNow activities and asset support tickets

    • Asset Inventory Management : Lead the development and maintenance of an accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets within the agency, utilizing the ServiceNow HAM and SAM modules.

    • Asset Optimization : Identify opportunities for cost-saving, license optimization, and overall efficiency improvements in the management of IT assets and guide the team in implementing best practices.

    • Compliance and Licensing : Oversee the team in ensuring the agency remains compliant with software licensing agreements, coordinating software audits, and conducting licensing assessments.

    • ServiceNow Expertise : Utilize the ServiceNow platform to its fullest extent, configuring and customizing the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules, and providing expertise to the team.

    • Microsoft Intune Integration : Oversee the integration of Microsoft Intune for efficient mobile device management and security, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

    • Reporting and Analysis : Guide the team in generating reports and analyzing data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making regarding IT asset management.

    • Maintain asset inventories and provide regular asset tracking and summary reports as required by client statement of objectives (SOO)

    • Work extensively directly with DFC clients on asset management tracking processes, concerns and issues

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required Education:

    • Associates Degree in Computer Studies or a related field of study; Bachelors degree preferred

    Clearance Requirements:

    • Must be able to obtain a DFC Clearance

    Standard Interview & Selection Process:

    • Recruiter Pre-Screen

    • If selected, Interview with Hiring Manager and/or Technical Lead

    Required Experience:

    • 2-3+ years of Asset Management Experience in an automated setting

    • Experience developing and managing ITIL process-based asset management in an automated ticketing system for a medium size client base IT

    • Proactive client interface experience and deliverable documentation development

    • Staff interface and asset coordination experience

    • Experience supporting DFC or similar IT organization preferred

    • Strong customer asset support skills

    • Strong written and verbal communications skills

    • Knowledge of the ServiceNow ticketing system

    • Experience with ITIL best practices

    Anti-Virus Software (i.e., Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection)

    Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS)

    Microsoft Active Directory (AD) user tracking and permissions descriptons

    Microsoft Domain Name Services (DNS)

    Microsoft Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)

    Enterprise Communication Services (i.e., TEAMs for Business)

    Microsoft SharePoint end-users licenses

    Microsoft Windows 10. 11

    Adobe

    Asset Management tools and techniques for large infrastructure environments

    Network Printer assets and location tracking

    Virtual Private Network and secure email transmission tools and license asset allocations

    Microsoft Office products and licensing

    Ticketing and Asset Management Systems (i.e., ServiceNow)

    Knowledge Base resource and video guide training planning and development

    General Desktop and Mobile Device System Administration

    Specialized agency inhouse application inventory, updating and tracking licenses
