    This position is responsible for adhering to safety standards, set up of the equipment, and following production schedule to meet customer needs.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Set-up and efficiently operate assembly/packaging equipment.

    • Proficient in operating three (3) assembly and packaging equipment.

    • Perform all quality checks according to Manufacturing Inspection Instructions (MII) and quality specifications sheets.

    • Track, document quality checks and scrap for assigned equipment as required.

    • Follow all prescribed safety/housekeeping practices and procedures.

    • Track machine downtime per shift.

    • Report any maintenance related issues and collaborate with other departments to resolve them.

    • Work with other team members and participate in team events and meetings.

    • Perform other duties as assigned to support plant and customer needs.

    5. Must possess High School Diploma or GED

    6. than 12 hours per day; occasional Saturdays may be required.

    7. 1+ years of assembly manufacturing experience required

    8. Must be able to perform basic math (adding and subtraction).

    9. Must be able to recognize and identify parts, problems, and offer solution.

    10. Must be able to complete supplemental training (i.e. technical math, basic computer skills, basic measuring skills , etc.).

    11. Must be able to speak, write and understand English.

    Work Environment:

    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this position, within typical manufacturing working conditions. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be exposed to fumes, heat and dust, climate variances and moving mechanical equipment typically found in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is high when exposed to the manufacturing areas. Temperatures in plant vary by season. Certain personal protective equipment is required when in the manufacturing areas. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    Physical Demands:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to grip, grasp, reach, push and pull with hands and arms, walk, stand, speak and listen. Occasionally climb, kneel, bend, and sit. The employee must frequently lift, push and pull 5-25 pounds and occasionally lift, push and pull up 25-50 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required by this position to include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
