    Working closely with the Director of Architectural services, the Architectural Job Captain will assist in managing client & project team relationships, including contractual obligations, expectations, quality of service, and clear communication with all parties. The Job Captain will produce and review design specifications and utilize digital drafting tools to create 2D and 3D models. This role requires the individual to ensure designs meet requirements, including program and governmental regulations.

    Day to Day

    • Proactively manages project-related issues.

    • Manage scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projects.

    • Utilizes necessary physical and digital tools to create initial drafts.

    • Coordinate and track all RFPs, RFIs, submittals, and other information logs. Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.

    • Prepare/update project status reports, process purchase and change orders and invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials.

    • Interact with general contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to coordinate work.

    • Ensure accurate management of all accounts receivables.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in commercial interior architecture.

    • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

    • Foundational skills - managing of projects/personnel.

    • B.S. in Architecture or Interior Design (Architecture highly preferred). * Rendering experience (producing visual outputs for projects).

    Keep in Mind - The ideal candidate would also be able to do the following:

    • Ability to space plan and guide the production of construction documents.

    • Thorough knowledge of codes and zoning regulations.

    • Quality Assurance/Quality Control.

    • Coordination skills: consultants, schedule, construction administration, etc.

    • Significantly detail-oriented with the ability to spot and fix potential design flaws.

    • Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts. null
