Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

Our client is a leading non-profit located in the east bay. They value innovation, teamwork, and excellence in all that we do. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team.

Job Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely using ERP software.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.

• Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment inquiries.

• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments.

• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
