Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in Torrance, California for a meticulous and detail-oriented individual with a background in Accounting or Data Entry Clerk Operations. This role is within the food manufacturing industry, where you will be assisting with data entry tasks, specifically entering customer orders into Excel and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in entering customer orders into Excel and QuickBooks efficiently and accurately

• Utilize your data entry skills to maintain accurate records

• Leverage QuickBooks knowledge to manage inventory and logistics-related tasks

• Use your proficiency in the Japanese language to effectively communicate with our diverse clientele

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions to address any delinquencies. Requirements - Proficiency in data entry tasks, including the ability to perform data entry with accuracy and speed

• Experience with asset inventory management, including tracking, recording, and reporting on asset status

• Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing and maintaining financial records

• Fluency in the Japanese language for communication with Japanese clients or partners

• Experience in an accounting clerk role or similar, demonstrating familiarity with accounting principles and practices

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating collaboration and communication skills

• High degree of professionalism and integrity in handling sensitive financial information

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for tasks such as document creation and email communication

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
