The Accountant II performs planning, coordination and administration of complex and significant accounting activities. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Location: 2600 Westhall Lane Maitland, FL 32751 Dress code: Business Casual Potentially Temp to perm - 8 weeks will likely be extended Hours: M-F 830-5 Hybrid 2 days in the office - We are typically in the office Wednesday and Friday. During our accounting close deadline which is the first week of the month, we are in the office Day 3 and 4 (that's business days)

salary: $25 - $30 per hour

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains complex and significant journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and

subsidiary ledgers

• Produces financial statements, budget-to-actual reports, and prepares narrative explaining the financial statements

• Prepares, analyzes, maintains, and explains trend information

• Prepares complex and significant audit and/or tax work papers. Assists with paperwork associated with the annual audit

• Analyzes and prepares accurate and timely project budgets for both operating and capital budgets, assisting in the

appropriate calculation and recording of capitalized interest

• May handle small standalone entity

• Performs other duties as assigned
