    Team Overview

    This exciting opportunity is part of our dedicated Streetbond Sales team. Streetbond also known as GAF Pavement Coatings is a state of the art suite of coating and surface solutions for concrete and asphaltic substrates. For more information, visit ~~~ . Ideal candidates for this opening will live in or around the Southeast Area and be responsible for the territories within Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh, Greenville/Spartanburg SC, Tampa and Miami.

    Summary

    Reporting to GAF's StreetBond Sales Leader, the Account Manager is a performance-focused outside sales and marketing support role with front-line customer engagement opportunities. As such, this role will provide disciplined, process-driven sales results to grow the StreetBond business.

    Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Working closely with both Sales and Marketing teams, identify and cultivate long-term/strategic customer leads and relationships focusing on business development and growth.

    • This role will work closely with other sales roles within the Liquids business unit along with marketing and technical support teams.Develop contractors from related industries or convert contractors that are utilizing competitive offerings.

    • Drive outbound sales & marketing efforts through identification, assessment, and professional outreach to potential strategic customers. These clients include designers, specifiers, and municipal decision-makers.

    • Seek out and develop strategic distribution partners with the help of sales leadership.

    • Integration of all critical sales efforts into customer relationship management (CRM) infrastructuretoaidcommunication-includingleadshand-off-amongallmembers of the sales and marketing teams.

    • Beaccountable for meeting business objectives regarding strategic customeroutreach and relationship management, sustainable volume (top of funnel), and conversion of relationships and leads to top-line revenue growth.

    • Prepareanddeliverstrategiccustomertraininganddevelopmentofferingslike"Lunch and Learns" to drive increased brand and product awareness and specification frequency.

    • Support team members in developing a positive, sustainable, and success-based culture within the business development area.

    • WorkwithsupportteamsacrossGAFtosupplyimportantmarketknowledgecriticalto marketing and product development efforts.

    • Abilitytoexecutehandsontrainingandjobstarts,competencywithmaterial application techniques and tools.

    • Travel required up to 50%.

    Under This Roof, We Require

    • Bachelors preferred or equivalent work experience.

    • 2 years of applicable B2B sales construction material sales preferred.

    • A successful track record and proven adeptness at professional business development with a growing product segment, preferably within the building materials/infrastructure space.

    • Strong knowledge of strategic/long-term customer relationship development and management-specifically customer/industry training and development activities.

    • Experiencewithmodernsalesandmarketingapproaches(Salesforce).

    • Ability in identifying potential customer needs that are best addressed through our innovative products and services.

    • Ability to develop, communicate, and persuade stakeholders even in the face of extreme skepticism, risk, and uncertainty.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Excellent problem solving and creating thinking skills.

    Annual Salary Range: 54,000-69,000
