    Our Engineering team is currently seeking a Project Manager at our headquarters in Lancaster, PA. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing cross-functional project teams on capital investments and productivity projects to meet safety, cost, schedule, and performance commitments while demonstrating a high degree of project management rigor. Projects will typically range from $1 to $10 million.

    This is a highly visible role where you will report to the Senior Manager of Mechanical Engineering and Capital Project Management and collaborate heavily with senior leadership to provide updates on project deliverables and act as the project's primary point of contact.

    Note: Relocation assistance is available to the Lancaster area for this position. Up to 50% travel will be required.

    Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

    • Lead development of business cases for capital projects & process improvement initiatives

    • Execute and own assigned capital projects on safety, cost, schedule, and performance

    • Lead project teams by utilizing Project Management standard work, competencies, and tools to support successful project execution

    • Lead development of the project charter for scope, deliverables, resource requirements, and milestones

    • Project Requirements - Complete and meet project requirements

    • Resource Planning - Develop well-defined roles, resources and structure

    • Communication and Reporting - Develop impactful, concise project communication and Stage Gates

    • Costs Management - Oversee capital and expense according to budget

    • Schedule Management - Manage project timeline; ensure clear definition of milestone deliverables and visibility to critical path and high risk items

    • Performance Management - Establish and enforce clear and quantifiable performance standards

    • Issues/ Risk Management - Anticipate, identify and resolve project risks/issues

    • Scope and Change Management - Effectively manage scope and change management

    • Procurement/Contract Management - Utilize appropriate procurement and contract management tools and techniques to minimize costs and risks

    • Project Governance - Oversee and assess project health through assessments to mitigate risks

    • Project Closure - Close out projects with effective transition to operations and business unit

    Required Qualifications and Education of the Project Manager:

    • Bachelor's degree, preferred in engineering or technology field with 5+ years of project management experience

    • AND/OR

    • 7+ years of combined project management, project coordinator, capital project engineering, and manufacturing leadership experience

    Preferred Qualifications of the Project Manager:

    • MBA degree or other advanced degree

    • Construction management experience

    • Experience using with utilizing external engineering firms and consultants

    • Procurement and contract management experience

    • Project Management certification from an accredited institution or organization

    • Experience with lean methodologies and lean manufacturing environments
