Leading Automotive Manufacturing plant in Warren is looking for Machine Operators. It is a great opportunity - Competitive pay, room for growth! We are searching for EXPERIENCED Machine Operators with the flexibility to be available for any shift. . This will be a contract to hire position for the right candidates.
1st - 6:00am to 2:30pm
2nd - 3:30 pm to 2:30am
3rd - 10:00 pm to 6:00am
Working 6 to 7 days of week,
Qualified candidates will set-up, operate and maintain standard and complex manufacturing processes consistent with approved engineering standards and quality parameters. To be an active participant in line/cell teams, contribute to the company's vision and goals, while safely operating production equipment.
Operate equipment to accepted safety and production standards.
Use and maintain product and process controls utilizing Dynamic Control Plan (DCP) methodology.
Participate in problem solving activities utilizing eight discipline problem solving (8D) and Poka-Yoke methodology
Strive for quality improvement and cost reduction, utilizing continuous improvement methodologies
Support in training and development of new team members.
Work in and promote team work
Maintain and utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC), Quality Operating System (QOS) measurables and reporting documentation
Maintain and verify all quality gaging, Poka-Yokes and mistake proof devices
Verify and maintain just-in-time inventory based on pull system
Ensure that equipment is serviced as required utilizing Total Productive Maintenance
Set-up all equipment in the entire cell to accepted engineering standards, utilizing quick changeover methodology
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to use hand gages, (micrometers, calipers, snap gages and master gages)
High school diploma or GED
Must be willing to work in a team environment
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form, as required
Must have a positive attitude
Must be willing to assume responsibility and be accountable for their actions
Create and work in an environment of respect and integrity
Must be mechanically inclined
