  • The Global Corporate Payments (GCP) US Large Market Client Group manages strategic corporate payment relationships with clients, including many multi-national organizations and acquires new corporate payments customers with revenue over $500M. This Client Specialist is responsible for providing essential analytical, administrative and project management support to the account management teams across multiple markets and product lines.

    Responsibilities: * Support special projects for the region to drive growth and retention of clients

    • Provide visibility to client program management trends and benchmarks across portfolio

    • Driving issue escalation with internal and client contacts

    • Support Merchant onboarding and back end supplier performance management for B2B programs

    • Preparation of data and insights for reporting to client

    • Regular client interaction, with ability to influence program administrators

    • Analysis of program spend, supplier files and program optimization reports

    • Presenting findings to client with recommendations for program enhancements

    • Other ad hoc projects as defined by VP and leadership team

    • Back up admin support to support VP with projects and communications to the region

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience with card programs and/or payments industry

    • Prefer knowledge of global payment product lines, service and infrastructure

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, strategic thought leadership and ability to anticipate needs

    • Strong data analysis capabilities

    • Client-focused experience, including ability to influence clients and partners

    • Self-motivated, results oriented, and team player

    • Ability to look for improvements in efficiency

    • Able to maintain confidence and displays professional maturity

    • Organized with efficient time management skills, detail oriented and good follow-up skills

    • Strong Microsoft Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel (including pivot tables and charts), and Word

    • Agile attitude

    • Degree preferred Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
